Spadeclub offer

I ran across an interesting tidbit in Card Player magazine.

There's a new site called SpadeClub that needs beta testers. They will have a freeroll each day with cash prizes. All they ask is for some feedback regarding their site's software.

I tried it. The software is fine. A little bit of a BoDog look to it, only better.

Problems are when someone bets or pays his blind, the amount of the bet ends up in the same window as the total chip stack. So that is blocked until there is further action. I don't like that. It is not realistic because in live poker, you can see the other person's stack - even if they are betting.

Also, if you like the 4-color deck on line - this site's four color deck is awful in my opinion. Spades are gray, Clubs blue, Hearts a real dark red and Diamonds a medium green. And the cards turn to just a symbol. Not a good look.

I guess once the site starts rolling, it will cost $20 a month to join!

I have absolutely no idea what they could offer the members for that amount.

I will find out and report. Thanks for the heads up Fourputt!

Well Aqua, you were a 5.5 to 1 favorite pre-flop. Not exactly the worst odds of all time for the idiot who called you.

After the flop, you were still a 4 to 1 favorite.

After the turn, you were of course drawing dead.

My advice: Put that idiot 'hayzee87' on your "Find Player" list. After the tilt wears off, go find that guy and get his money before the rest of the Poker Stars nation beats you to it.

My guess is hayzee is some dude who plays $5/$10 (or more) at a casino and a $10 all in is nothing to him so he called. His hole cards sucked but this was his turn for the 20% flop. Pokerstars ain't rigged but 4 out of 5 times we would not be hearing about this because you would have kicked his ass Aqua.
Besides isn't there laws against gambling on Christmas?

On the first day of Christmas Poker Stars gave to me - ONE suck out artist!
