Wingsfancurt Wins His 2nd NPP Tourney

An omen to the Red Wings playoff run? I hope so!

Wingsfancurt used hot cards and bully tactics to carve out his second NPP victory. He overcame two other hot players AND a faulty internet to win it.

We had 27 players tonight, welcoming back Rjmech and introducing Bendandsnap (twss).

On to the action:

16 min: Funtoon (27th) moves in with (KK) and is called by Derf-63 with (77) and a [7] falls on the flop.

21 min: Rjmech (26th) gets no nub on his return.
24 min: Tomservo2 (25th)
30 min: ThePunk75 (24th)
31 min: T3chlady (23rd), after her trip Queens get run over by Absea98’s straight, Absea puts the final nail in T3’s coffin as his (AK) out-last’s her short-stacked (SS) (Ks 9s).

35 min: Pre01 (22nd) sees his (77) lose a coin flip to Absea98’s (AQ) when an A flops.
36 min: Douge2 (21st)
39 min: xxxKdogxxx (20th)
42 min: A SS Odds2win777 (19th) sees his (Tc 9c) fail to run down Pistolboy70’s (AK).
44 min: A SS Tigercub8189 (18th) goes with (JT) and runs into (AJ).
46 min: Yecats423 (17th) goes with (22), but Bendandsnap calls with (KQ), and hits a [K] on the flop.

47 min: Fusciardi (16th).
48 min: Theedouble*d (15th)
50 min: BigDaddyTman (14th) has to go with (Kd 8d), but LittleRedElf holds (A8).
57 min: Pistolboy70 (13th).

1st break:
Vanettej 8035
Wingsfancurt 7956
Absea98 4205
Bendandsnap 3578
Meatsword 3323
Mikeniks-Faldo 2654
Derf-63 2548
LittleRedElf 1860
Mistermusic5 1810
K9isadog 1746
Suetman1 1560
Fourbetbluff 1225

65 min: Absea98’s two pair snaps off a SS Mistermusic5 (12th).
68 min: A SS Fourbetbluff (11th) tries with (KJ) and runs into Meatsword’s (A8).
72 min: K9isadog (10th) steals Faldo’s bubble spot.
82 min: A SS Suetman1 (9th) loses with (K8) to Vanettiej’s (Ad 6d).
86 min: A SS Derf-63 (8th) has to try with (KQ) cannot run down Meatsword’s (AJ).
88 min: A SS LittleRedElf (7th) goes with (Ah Jh) (64%) and is called by Vanettej with (Kh Th) (36%), and he hits his [K] on the flop.

This was the first really ‘bad beat’ recorded tonight. Oh, but PokerStars had a doozy in store for Faldo.

91 min: Chip leader Wingsfancurt (AT) (16%) makes a standard raise from the button as the three players before him all fold. A SS Bendandsnap (6th) moves all-in with (AJ) (20%) and a SS Mikeniks-Faldo (5th) (64%) has to go with (AK). Of course Wingsfancurt calls.

The flop is a near lock for Faldo: [8 K 3], giving Faldo a (96%) to (2%) and (2%) chance to win the hand. But a [J] on the turn and a [Q] on the river, sends two packing. (twss).

A nice showing by the newbie, Bendandsnap.

100 min: Absea98 (4th) goes with two pair, but Wingsfancurt holds trip fours.
116 min: Vanettej (3rd) has to try with (88), but Wingsfancurt is on fire! He correctly calls with (Ad 6d) and hits his [A] on the flop.

Heads up: Wingsfancurt 24000 - 16500 Meatsword

119 min: Meatsword (2nd) semi-bluffs with (Kh 5h) and a flop of [Th Qs 7h], but Wingsfancurt holds (Q7) and is not going anywhere. When the flush misses, it’s over.

Congratulations to Wingsfancurt on his 2nd NPP win.

MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A WOMAN !!
On a transatlantic flight, a plane passes through a severe storm. The turbulence is awful, and things go from bad to worse when one wing is
struck by lightning. One woman, in particular, loses it. Screaming, she stands up in the front of the plane. 'I'm too young to die,' she wails.

Then she yells, 'If I'm going to die, I want my last minutes on earth to be memorable! Is there anyone on this plane who can make me feel like a WOMAN?'

For a moment there is silence. Everyone has forgotten their own peril. They all stare, eyes riveted, at this desperate woman in the front of the plane. Then a cowboy from Alberta stands up in the rear of the plane. He is handsome, well built, with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He starts to walk slowly up the aisle, unbuttoning his shirt, one button at a time. No one moves. He removes his shirt. Muscles ripple across his chest. She gasps. He whispers . . .'Iron this. Then get me a beer.
