Fourbetbluff Takes Over 2nd Quarter Lead With His 2nd NPP Win!

Fourbetbluff took some timely hands and aggressive play to another NPP win and charges to the front of the pack.

I am surprised at the absenteeism of the last-week winners. Yecats423 missed last week and Fusciardi missed tonight. Oh well. It happens as the weather gets nice.

On to the action:

15 min: Gdub28 (22nd).
21 min: Odds2win777 (21st).
28 min: ThePunk75 (20th).
30 min: BigDaddyTman (19th).
40 min: A short-stacked (SS) Wingsfancurt (18th) goes with (A6) but is out-pipped by Vanettej with (AQ).
42 min: A SS Tigercub8189 (17th) goes with (AK) and Fourbetbluff hits his first timely hand with (Qs Ts) and a [T] on the flop.

48 min: Derf-63 (16th).
56 min: A SS Akensi (15th) tries it with (QJ) but T3chlady is holding (Ah 9h).
57 min: A SS Suetman1 (14th) has to try with (KT) but runs into Midway2933’s (AA).
59 min: Midway2933 (13th) is double-teamed by Absea98 and Yecats423, who won it with a pair of Jacks.

60 min: A SS Kensik (12th) goes with (K9) but cannot overtake Pistolboy70’s (AK).

1st break:
Yecats423 6845
T3chlady 6060
Pistolboy70 4225
K9isadog 4110
Fourbetbluff 2660
Absea98 2555
xxxKdogxxx 1875
Douge2 1495
Mikeniks-Faldo 1440
Vanettej 1435
Tomservo2 300

70 min: Douge2 (11th) has (KK) but xxxKdogxxx hits his flush. Ouch!
73 min: K9isadog bubbles (10th) after three tough losses in a row.
81 min: A SS Vanettej (9th) (A3), and Absea98 (8th) (JJ), have to go. But they run into xxxKdogxxx’s (KK) from the blinds.

85 min: Pistolboy70 (7th) runs into Fourbetbluff’s (KK). Timely.
90 min: Mikeniks-Faldo (6th) runs into xxxKdogxxx’s (QQ).
95 min: Tomservo2 (5th) fought back from nearly felted after a bad beat and is in the thick of it. He goes with (22) and a flop of [2 Q 7], but runs into T3chlady’s (77). Set over set is just ugly – for the loser.

106 min: Yecats423 (4th) loses to Fourbetbluff’s trip Eights.
110 min: They are all-in after a flop of [5h Ks 9d]. A SS xxxKdogxxx (3rd) tries to semi-bluff catch with (QT), but cannot catch Fourbetbluff’s (44).

Heads up: Nearly dead even between Fourbetbluff and T3chlady.

113 min: T3chlady (2nd) has 14200 chips. Fourbetbluff has 18800. 4bet raises small and T3 calls. The flop is [8c Qh Th] – a true action flop. Everyone has to have a piece of this. How much is the question.

T3 fires out a small bet and 4bet only calls it. The turn is a [4s] – which should be a total brick.

T3 tries to buy it right there with a pot size bet, but is called. The river is a perfect “BINGO” or “DEATH” card – the [9h]! Well, it’s all there. Straights, flushes and over-cards all could have this pot.

T3 moves all-in with (KK) and some fold equity if 4bet has two pair. But he doesn’t (KJ). He has the straight.

Congratulations to Fourbetbluff for taking over the 2nd quarter lead!
