ArticBlast1 Hosts an NPP Home Game

Old fashioned limit poker was on tap – as was the pizza, chips and beer!

Beerhog and Faldo had cigars in Matchy’s driveway – as a pre-game warm up.

Boother, Farrell, Bo and a couple others snuggled up to ArticBlast’s octagon felt.

Life is tough as after a lunch of wings and beer, I had to play golf BEFORE cigars and a night of poker with buddies. Someone has to do it.

The laughs were many as the cards flew. Faldo ended up the big winner.

Thanks for organizing the game ArticBlast1 and Matchy. And, yes – they shamed Faldo into re-opening NPP for a game soon.

It was Bo not Bona1r, different high school buddy, not that it matters. I am a little groggy today but had a blast. Glad you and "Dunkel Weiss" could make it. There should be frequent games on Fri. nights from here on out @ Coyote.

Beerhog,
I heard you moved the "wide stance" from the course to the poker table. Are you now, twwss?

Hey Matchy, you could have filled us in on the other guys too. Help a drunk reporter out, will you?

Matchy, wasn't it you who noticed Dunkel Weiss was German for "Wide Stance?"

Yes indeed I translated the German from Fred's favorite brew. As far as reporting, if you are referring to results I think it went something like this: Greg, Matchy, Boother +/- 20, everyone else stacked off right to Mikeniks! I was down big but made my money back the usual skilled way, things like getting the ace of spades twice in 3 card Chicago. It was your time to shine!

No Matchy, I meant the niknames or the first names of the other players in the game. I'm missing a few of guys who were there.

Bri, you should try the Dunkel Weiss, maybe he could get that driver over 100 yds.

Matchy, did you learn the german from the Michigan rest stops?

That is a idea B. H. (AKA- W.S.), but with 13 putts for nine holes, why bother!!

Other players were Noel, and Alan (golf league guys) and Jim F. of charity poker fame. Add Beerhog, Mikeniks, Boother, Bo, Arctic and Matchy and you get our glorious lineup of 9. Big Brimar you gotta get out and play live with us!

Fred you already know nobody talks at the rest stops, all the communicating is done via toe-taps.

13 putts is great. its the other 66 shots that kills him.

I wondered why you took up tap dancing matchy.
