K9isadog Wins His 4th NPP Tourney, but ThePunk75 Wins the 2nd Quarter Seat

ThePunk75 and K9isadog spanked the competition...and a few other things.

The last round of the 2^nd quarter was missing a couple of the finalists as Lump2 - and our leader - 95corolla were absent. That left Faldo, LittleRedElf and ThePunk75 as the only people who could catch 95corolla. And with Faldo a wild card, we could have had two seats secured tonight.

But LittleRedElf and Faldo were gone before the final table and that left ThePunk75 needing a 5^th place finish to capture the 2^nd quarter seat, and he did it!

But let’s not forget the late run by K9isadog – who won three of the last five tournaments to get in the hunt. He came up short, but he sure picked up a lot of points towards a Total Points seat – if he doesn’t win one of the last two quarters. Great job, K9isadog!

The Third Quarter starts next week. It’s a new beginning. If you thought about joining – do it now.

30 min: A short-stacked (SS) Mikeniks-Faldo (10^th) has to with a pair of Tens and a flush and straight draw, but of course can’t hit and loses to K9isadog’s pair of Aces.

50 min: A (SS) Sanster89 (9^th) has to go with (77) and runs into Wwsatando’s (QQ).

69 min: Lump2 (7^th) blinds out.

74 min: A SS Greggst49 (6^th) has to go with (QJ) and loses to K9isadog (AJ).

79 min: A SS ThePunk75 (5^th) has to go with (Qd 6d) and a diamond draw. But he misses and K9isadog has two pair. But with the 5^th place finish, ThePunk picked up enough points to win the 2^nd quarter seat!

105 min: Absea98 (4th) has (88) and loses a coin flip to Derf-63 with (AK) when an [A] hits the board.

108 min: Derf-63 (3^rd) has two pair that get out-kicked by K9isadog’s same two pair! Ouch!

110 min: Pre01 (2^nd) sees his (JJ) run into K9isadog’s (KK).
