Exercise Your 2nd Amendment Rights....or Lose Them
I have friends, these female friends who I shoot with regularly at the range. Well, actually, I am a nice range instructor and am kind enough to pick up the shells as they are discharged from their weapons.
Sweeping at home is woman's work. But picking up gun shells - by hand on my hands and knees if necessary - is my job for some students I shoot with. I am a helpful guy when I need to be.
I have some male friends I shoot with on occasion. It's a nice way to spend a few hours. Range time, beer time, wing/burger time, 2nd amendment discussion time and then the usual jokes-bs time. A good time.
I have some other friends - of both sexes - that continue to procrastinate on getting their handgun(s), ammo and a CCW (Carrying Concealed Weapon) or CPL (Concealed Pistol License.
If you want to dither on actually jumping thru the hoops (and anal exam) of getting your CPL, fine. But go buy a handgun and ammo (or two). It is your right and you better exercise it.
If you don't want to get into the CCW/CPL system, that is fine with me also. I completely understand.
But someday - and sooner than you may think - you will need your weapon simply to be safe in places where carrying a shotgun is not practical. And even if that day never comes in your lifetime, it will in your children's.
Refugees, slaves and victims of purges all have one thing in common. They are unarmed.
