Absea98 Wins for the 1st Time in 2018, Tomservo2 Wins 2nd Qtr Seat, and LittleRedElf Cashes in the WSOP!

All the NPP groupies are floored by the poker talents of Absea, Tom and the Elf!
What an exciting week for NPP!
Absea98 continues to lead the Total Points List for a seat in the NPP Finals and this win certainly helped!

Congratulations toAbsea98 on his 18th NPP victory.

With the Absea98 win, that left Tomservo2 the leader at the end of the 2nd quarter, giving him the 2nd seat in the NPP final, joining Rjmech as a finalist.

Congratulations to Tomservo2 for once again making an NPP Final!

And that brings us to our NPP World Series of Poker representative - LittleRedElf. "Dave" was kind enough to send Faldo some day be day updates. So here they are with no input from Faldo. Thanks LittleRedElf for the stories from Las Vegas and the WSOP live and in person.

Knocked out in the 10th hour of play to finish 306th.

Daily Deep Stack Event
Finished 76th of 804 and won $445

Senior Event – 20K initial stack.
4 hours = 33K
8 hours = 31K, with the average stack 40K
Out at the end of the day when a QQQJJ full house lost to a straight flush!

Super Senior WSOP Event
25.5K chips at first break
46K at second break
43K at dinner break
60.7K at 4th break
End of day – 85.5K in the bag after 10 hours of play. 2,650 entries and 850 remain. Average chip stack is 62K. They are paying 398 places.
Dan Harrington, who won the main event in 1995, sat down at a table next to me and got knocked out after 3 hours, re-bought and was gone two hours later!
Men “the Master” Nguyen sat down at our table after a re-buy and was gone after 20 minutes.
Day 2 – 12 hours in - 123K in chips
In the money now! – 209K
Dinner break – 196K – there are 294 people left and the average stack is 180K.
After 18 hours of play – 337K, with 196 people left and the average stack is 227K.
After 20 hours of play at the end of Day 2 – 232K chips and there are 120 players left and the average stack is 442K.
After 22 hours, finished in 92nd place and won $2816. My QQ ran into AA.
When my table broke yesterday, pro Barry Greenstein was not having a good tournament. He made a move and his hand lost. Then he went all in with 10 – 3 offsuit and lost to be eliminated. He did not autograph a book for the winner, which he normally does.
