Rjmech Christmas Las Vegas Trip

Sorry for the lack of posts. Holidays and all. Rjmech went to Las Vegas for his holiday. Here is his report!

Poker Friends,
Just wanted to give you a quick update on my Vegas poker adventure.

Tuesday 12/25 - Fly out on 4pm flight after church on Delta and head to the Orleans casino. Chip chop the $80 7pm tournament 3 ways for $603 for $50 more than 2nd place money. There were 70 players in the field.

Great view of the strip from my room:

Weds 12/26 - $250 Venetian deep stack
Came in 44th out of 310 runners just out oh the money. My JJ vs 88 got rivered. Last spot paid was 36th. Still had a great experience. 1st place was over $15,300 !! Oh well next time.

Thurs 12/27 - need to chill after grinding 8 hours at Venetian. Up $800 (in for $500) after 7 hours of play. $1280 ending stack:

Run to 7pm $80 Limit Omaha Hi Lo at 7:15 but bust out 1/2 way through.

Thursday stack.
Fri 12/28 - another good day of cash. Up $200 enough to pay for the $130 entry to the 7pm no limit hold em tournament. Bust out in 50th spot due to low chips and no cards. This is my favorite weekly tourney in Vegas! Starting next week this tournament will have a $15K guarantee!

Sat 12/29 - awesome day at cash! Only in for $300 ending stack $1286 after 7 hours😀

I highly recommend the Orleans as a place to stay and play poker. They just out in brand new tables and chairs about a month ago. They have great room rates and their standard rooms are mini suites with a couch, lounge chair, and table plus a coffee machine with all the coffee you can drink.

Their restaurants are awesome especially Ondori Asian Kitchen. I enjoyed the spring rolls, hot & sour soup and General Tso’s chicken. Plus they have a great 24/7 cafe and buffet that are very reasonably priced.

They have another satisfied customer as I plan to visit at least once in 2019.

Check them out:

Keep me in the loop on any future Vegas trips!

Happy new year!

Randy
