Theedouble*d Wins for the 4th Time in 2014

The spoils of victory wait for DD in the NPP Winners lounge.
Theedouble*d seems to like short tournaments. He won last time we had just thirteen entries. He also likes winning the first or last tourney of a quarter. He’s done that 3 of the 4 times. Anyway, DD takes the 4thquarter lead.

Wwsatando's fans overcome with emotion with his win.
What a final round of the 3rd Quarter! We play for real at NPP.
The tourney was large with 16 players, the tournament was hard fought and we had several long battles – including a tense heads up battle. The round was won by Wwsatando – for his first NPP win. Congratulations Zack! You are the 72nd winner in NPP history. And welcome to the Walk of Fame.
Meanwhile, Tomservo2 withstood a great effort by Absea98 to catch him on the final round of the 3rd quarter. But Tom held him off and wins the 3rd Quarter Seat in the NPP final.

Burn Baby Burn - Ferguson Inferno

That racist Eric Holder needs to go too.
Burn, Ferguson, Burn

Random Thoughts on a Confluence of Putrescenses (Random Thoughts on a Joining of Rotten Things) by Fred Reed, August 15, 2014

Methinks there cometh three horsemen of a sorry apocalypse:

First, blacks are again rioting, looting, and burning.

Second, the media are as usual - lying, interpreting, concealing.

Third, swatted-out heavies of a bush-league police force knock reporters around, arresting them for nothing, and refusing to reveal their identities.

Reflect: Every white cop short of the orbit of Neptune knows that if he shoots a black, he faces dismemberment in the media, loss of job and pension, probable criminal charges locally by a publicity-seeking prosecutor, a well-funded civil suit that he can’t afford filed by surviving family members, and trumped-up federal civil-rights charges from an attorney general who doesn’t like whites.

But the white cop doesn’t mind any of this because he wants to shoot a black kid for jaywalking? [Editor’s note: “Of course he doesn’t mind”, says the liberal race peddlers.]

The media, Democrats, and race industry stoke the fires by telling blacks that they are victims, and some seem actually to be looking for a fight. Jesse Jackson is quoted as threatening, “There is a Ferguson near you.” True.

Wherever blacks and whites come into contact, there is trouble.

With the encouragement of the various Jesses, blacks could make a bad miscalculation. Angry, poorly educated, and living in concentrations that make them seem more numerous than they are, they may miss some important points. They are only thirteen percent of America.

Food does not come from Safeway, but from remote farms owned by whites in truck driven by whites. If Jesse and Al and the Black Panthers got their race war, blacks would lose it – quickly and badly.
[Editor's note: The Race Baiters are well aware they would lose Fred - which is why they stay put rioting in their own neighborhoods destroying themselves. This is done for nothing other than to build more 'white guilt' - which will be trumpeted by the liberal media. The only suffering will be done by one white cop - and hundreds of hard working 'Americans who happen to be black' that will lose their homes, stores and jobs.]

I doubt that our televised commentators have any idea what they are dealing with. Nor do academics. Whites with university educations, who read five books at once - have never been in a police car, cannot know who the rioters are, cannot imagine how the world seems to them. Black physicists do not loot shoe stores.

Those who do loot tend to be functionally illiterate. The rest have probably never read a book in their lives. They live in a mental world unknown to most whites. They will never live amicably with white cops.
[Editor’s note: Most of the actual Ferguson agitators are paid Democrat rent a mobs. Democrats make everything a crisis when possible. Will my fellow citizens ever finally say “I’ve had enough of these liberals!?” Sadly, no. Like the frog that never jumps out of the pot of water as it is heated to a boil, my fellow citizens will go along to get along until it is too late.]

The feds have turned police into low-brow SS, but racial conflict would exist even if this weren’t true.  As long as white policemen work in black neighborhoods, Ferguson’s will continue.

[Editor’s note: I disagree. Blacks riot against blacks who try to get ahead in life. It is called “acting white” and that is a crime in the ‘hood’. It’s mostly black businesses that are destroyed and jobs for blacks that are lost.]

White cops tend to be from the lower middle class, often former military, with the accompanying values. Theirs is a conventional morality of obedience to the law, birth within wedlock, mowing the lawn, neat clothes, making sure the kids do their homework, orderliness, and avoidance of obscenity in mixed company. They are quietly but intensely contemptuous of the blacks of the deep city, whom they see as slovenly, criminal, shiftless, parasitic, and violent.

Don’t write me email about stereotypes etc. I’m telling you what a great many white policemen (I believe I could safely say nearly all) think. What they think and what they see governs their behavior, like it or not.

Meanwhile the blacks see white policemen as hostile occupiers. White cops seem agents of an alien and hostile race, always pushing them around. Speaking as one who has spent many, many nights patrolling with cops in black regions, I know well why the blacks feel this way:

“Hey, you! Yeah, you, with the beer in your hand. Pour it out. You can’t drink in public. I said pour…it…out.”

The obvious, inexpensive, simple, practical solution would be to have only black police in black neighborhoods, and white in white. I suggested this when I was police writer for the Washington Times, but was told that it ran against the policy of compulsory integration. And Black cops didn’t like the idea because it would leave them in the most dangerous jurisdictions.

We need to realize, but will not, that blacks are a separate people, self-aware and cohesive. They have their own dialect, music, and modes of dress, which they value. They name their kids LaToya and Keeshawn instead of Robert and Carol because they want to maintain a distance from whites.

The races spring from utterly different cultures. Compulsory integration is thus a form of social imperialism in which whites try to force blacks to conform to European norms.

Blacks have no historical connection at all to Greece, Rome, the Old Testament Hebrews, Christianity, the Middle Ages, the Enlightenment, Industrial Revolution, to Newton, LaGrange, or Galois, to the philosophic tradition of Thales, Aquinas, Schopenhauer, or Hegel. Nor do Euro-whites have roots in Africa. No commonality exists.

We talk multiculturism, but try to impose a monoculture—ours—on blacks. Why? Why in school should we insist that blacks study things of no interest to them? It is reminiscent of policies aimed at stripping American Indians of their languages and traditions.

On the other hand, I as a white man have little enthusiasm for studying Shaka Zulu, the Great Zimbabwe, or African religions. Would not all be happier with their own schools in which they could maintain their own culture?

“Separate but equal” is in bad odor as a governing philosophy. It seems to be the only thing that works. If voluntary, wherein lies the evil? Less contact means less conflict.

[The problem again is liberalism and their belief that a utopia is possible – if enough force is used. Liberals really do believe that forcing people to do what they consider as the ‘right thing’ will work. Sort of like ‘the beatings will continue until moral improves.’]

Is there any evidence that blacks want to associate with whites? Or vice versa? In the universities, do blacks not clamor for black-only dormitories, black-only fraternities, and Black Studies? And what is wrong with this? Why should blacks not associate with whom they choose? And why should not whites?
[Editor’s note: Question: How many ‘black only’ colleges and how many ‘white only’ colleges are there?]

Almost always, when the races do not have to mingle, they don’t. In Washington, blacks fleeing the crime of the city go to the heavily-black Prince George’s County, whites to Arlington, Fairfax, and Bethesda. Within Arlington, blacks cluster together in mini-barrios. So what? It’s their business.

Note that the togetherness pushed endlessly on us is almost entirely rhetorical, preached by people who mean that others should practice it. [Editors’ note: Typical, hypocritical and the definition of liberalism.)  I lived for years in the city with many liberal, racially correct friends. They spent all their time with other whites, and the restaurants and bars they patronized seldom had more than a token black, if that.

Ethnic mixing doesn’t work, gang. Not Moslems and Parisians [Editor's note: Not Muslims and ANYBODY], Irish Catholics and Protestants, Shias and Sunnis, Indonesians and Chinese, nor even New Yorkers and Alabamans.

We [Editor’s note: Not We – Liberals] think it should work, insist that it will, punish those who observe that it doesn’t. Yet still it doesn’t work. The greater the difference between groups, the less well it works. If we realized this, and let people do as they choose, the country would be much better off. - Fred Reed

[Editor's note: The greatest percentage of racists in this country are now in the minority groups and are further isolating themselves and tribalizing themselves against the 'whites' and the 'Constitution of the United States.' The Democrats-liberals-communists are using this fact to further destroy our republic. That is why the Democrats love our wide open border policy. Civil unrest and/or home-grown terrorist attacks bring us much closer to Martial Law and the end of freedom.

Every liberal you know is either a glaring example of a total idiot, mentally ill - or a traitor to this country. It's one, two or all three of those.]

Tomservo2 Wins – Joins the Leaders in the 2014 3rd Quarter

Tomservo2 changed gears and raced around the field!
Tomservo2 waded thru a huge field of eighteen players to win for the second time in 2014. Tom seems to love the bigger field tournaments as he finished second last time we had 18 players. Nice job Tom. He takes over the lead for the 3rd quarter seat in the NPP finals - with 2 rounds to go.
And don't look now - but Tomservo2 has quietly moved up to #3 on the Walk of Fame. Welcome to the Top of the Mountain Tom!
We also welcome new player AndyAllPoints to the NPP family. He is friends with T3chlady, which means he will be a player to fear! He actually won points and chips in his first NPP tilt!  Another fine though bred to join the NPP stable of players. Welcome Andy!

Theedouble*d Wins for the 3rd Time in 2014

Theedouble*d is not trying to back into the 3rd quarter seat like Larissa!
It seems to be all or nothing for Theedouble*d. He is the only one so far to win for the 2nd time this quarter and still does not have the 3rd quarter lead. Others are picking up place and show points along the way to pad their totals.
But T2D will be a threat the rest of the way, as the current leaders are surely aware.
Still plenty of time to catch everyone, so get into the game!

T3chlady Finishes 7th in a NL Holdem Tourney at Firekeepers!

Nothing but cheers for T3chlady!
Much to the surprise of T3chlady, she finished 7th at the Firekeepers Casino Texas Holdem Sunday Tournament on July 6th. It is not a surprise to Faldo. After all, T3 is an NPP’er.

Both Rjmech and T3chlady entered this event with about 60 others. The buy-in was $120. 10K in starting chips. $6000 prize pool paying 8 places and a consolation bubble prize.

Oh great, two bubble chances for Faldo to hit when he enters this event.

Unfortunately, Rjmech got busted early, but T3chlady arrived at the final table with 70K in chips (above the average) and within sight of the chip leader.

Some of the memorable hands;

T3chlady doubles up when she raises on the button with (7c 6c) and gets called by the big blind. The flop was [3d 4c Jc]. Jean raised with the flush draw and the inside straight draw. The BB called. The turn was the [5h]. The BB pushed, representing a straight. Jean called and had to survive the river as the BB had (Kc Tc). She dd!

T3chlady didn’t always dodge bad luck. Twice she had (AA) and lost to flushes! She also lost to (76) as her two pair fell to a runner – runner straight! Good grief! But play on she did.

She also had some luck as she hit trips three times to stay in the hunt. She also hit a straight once to beat an opponent’s trips. You do need luck – as well as talent – to cash in a tournament. No doubt about it.

At the final table with the blinds at 6K/12K, T3 pushed with (Ah Qh) and was called by the chip leader with (TT). Jean hit a pair of Aces but the chip leader tripped his Tens, sending T3 to the rail – but with $350 in her pocket.

She said it was a great tournament with 20 minute blinds and lots of happy faces. She highly recommends this tournament.

Thank you so much for the tournament write up Jean. And congratulations!

Suetman123 Wins for the 1st Time in 2014

Ana Marquez has nothing on Suetman123!
We play for real at NPP! In a thrilling finish, Suetman123 finally defeated Wingsfancurt in one of the longest heads up battle ever in this long running league!
Sure we are no longer playing for cash because of our dictator government, but the pride of just winning a seat in the NPP Finals against this stable of players is just too big of a trophy to ignore.
Our players know that to hold your own against this group means – you are a player.
With this win, “Sue” moves into 4th place this quarter and Wingsfancurt (Mr. Vegas) moves into 2nd. Absea98 still leads the 3rd quarter.
