Douge2 Wins for the 3rd Time This Year

Evangelina says Douge2 and her will need a sound-proof room after his win.

This gives Douge2 the lead in the Total Point race, and puts him back in the 2^nd quarter race.
He took advantage of the shortened lineup to win for the 3^rd time this season.
LittleRedElf takes over the 2nd quarter lead, picking up points by entering and sitting out to a 3rd place finish.

Faldo is not sure what is going on. This is the first time we ever had an 11 player tourney. And even three of the eleven blinded out. So we actually had an 8 person tournament – also a record low.

Maybe the ‘free chip” situation is finally taking a toll on people’s motivation. Of course that is a Democrat specialty – destroying people’s desire to do anything productive.

Faldo is not angry at all with his NPP’ers. And getting mad at liberals, our now communist government, and the criminal element at the highest level of our govenment -  already cost Faldo stress related health issue.

So, Faldo will simply relish the time we have left - what ever time we have left – for everything.

“Techlady” FINALLY got a few breaks from PokerStars, and used them to go along with solid play to take this week’s tourney.

With this win, she moves into first place in the second quarter, just ahead of the legend, LittleRedElf. LRE had the lead and appeared to be pulling away, when he had to sit out. Even so, he finished 5^th. Elf can finish higher than Faldo – sitting out – than Faldo can playing!

Plenty of time to get in the race for Seat #2 in the NPP Finals.

J3gamble Wins His 1st NPP Tilt

J3gamble spanked the NPP lineup. This lady wants her turn!

J3gamble becomes the 70^th person to win an NPP tournament. He did it in fine style and definitely earned it in this marathon session. It was almost 3 hours of poker action!

The reason of course is the battle for the 1^st seat in the NPP Finals. The last four weeks of a quarter is like Sunday on the PGA Tour. It time to go for it.

Douge2 was surprisingly MIA, but the rest of the pursuers for the seat were in attendance.

Remember, Faldo is a wildcard. He does not take a seat from anyone. So, our current leader for the 1^st seat in the NPP final is still Douge2. So with 2 weeks to go, a lot of players are still in contention to catch him.

Democrat Voters Hate the United States of America

Democrats want to vote for a seal killer. A Navy Seal killer.

This lady has nothing on our T3chlady!

T3chlady fought thru a couple bad beats and being low person in chips in the Final Four to win tonight! She stayed focused, stayed calm and let the cards turn and get her back in the race. Then, she was getting the love from PS for a change.

Rjmech picked up some much needed points, as the other leaders faultered and tonight was a night for everyone to play catch up.

The race got closer for everyone!

NPP Old School Returned at Matchy’s

Jennifer Walcott loves herself some Niks Poker Palace.

Beerhog had a poker Jones. Oh, and - a rare these days - hall pass.  

Beerhog is starting to get those hall passes about as often as Davethedog – which is close to never.
Usually they now get about 2 a year and still have to both be home when the bracelet around their junk shocks them.

I think these two went to the same place to get neutered. That is a post for another time. I digress.

Beerhog, Faldo and Matchy rounded up some players from the old NPP limit poker days, and the Matchy no-limit days and had an old fashioned limit poker game!

It was a great time and it was nice to go back to the times when you could sit back - drink a beer (or 10) - and see a flop - without a great starting hand. Faldo even played more than his usual 2 hands an hour. Faldo got crazy and got all the way up to ………..3 hands an hour! Obviously Faldo was drinking heavily and playing like a maniac!

The line-up was Matchy, Gridlock, Dan the Man, 95corolla, Thai Food, Faldo, Beerhog, Greg and Greggst.

The one thing we forgot to do was the closing No – Limit Holdem tournament to close the night. In order to satisfy the No – Limit players, the old NPP added this wrinkle.

We would play limit until midnight or 1am or so, and then close the night with a No – Limit sit-n-go. That gave the No Limit players their fix and as players got eliminated, they would head home. Not a bad system.

Maybe next time……and I think there will definitely be a next time. Thanks for hosting Matchy!
