Another fun night was had as the Niks Poker Palace Team showed up at PPL for their Friday night tournament.
Dinner was enjoyed first by the players in the bar area of Grill 23.
The waitress was ‘impressive’, as was the greeter/seater. By impressive, I mean in the way they did their jobs. Yeah…yeah, that’s what I meant.
We were having such a good time at dinner they had to come remind us about the 30 –player tournament starting.
I was hoping for a report from Boother, Derf-63 and K9isadog, who were still in the tourney when Faldo exited.
Beerhog took a bad beat to leave before Faldo (16th), and Aqualung85 left soon after Faldo.
Let’s hope the reports roll in. Faldo had to get home as his gas tank was empty, so could not stay around to report on the goings on.
We will try this again in March. NPP added ten players to the tourney this night and thirteen the first time. I think 20 is a reasonable goal! What a party that could be.
