We now have socialized medicine. Which mean we are officially a Socialist nation. People get the government they deserve. Enjoy your chains.
Even those of you who did not vote Democrat still are to blame. You broke bread with them. You let them attend your block parties. You let them educate your children into wards of the state. You let Democrats stay in our churches even though they vote for killing babies. You tolerated their destruction of our press, media and Constitution. This includes Faldo of course.
The rest of the socialist world "pretending" to be free; Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, etc., were only 'slowly' bankrupting their countries because they did not have to pay for their own defense. The United States did it.
Now we will not be able to protect ourselves, let alone the rest of the world. Heck, after the quadrupling of our debt in less than a year, we couldn't afford it even before socialized medicine.
Our government spends three time the money it has on butter (welfare for the people) than it does on guns (our defense). Defense spending is almost the only Constitutional spending the government does. The United States will now spend seven times the money on butter. Our foreign enemies will notice - trust me.
So in addition to squashing our freedom, our rights and bankrupting the nation, the Democrats have paved the way for our military's collapse too.
You or your fellow citizens voted for change. Well, you got it. The United States is now a France and is steamrolling into a Mexico. Next stop - a Cuba. The collapse of our financial system is next. None of the policies of the Democrats in power is sustainable. And we were broke before this.
Start watching videos of Somalians fighting for position when the UNICEF truck finally makes it past the crooked government officials and the warlords, and they fight over the food thrown off the back of the truck. After all, practice makes perfect.

A sad, sad day in our nation's history.
I think it' sad that people die, in our hospitals, who are refused a heart, or kidney transplants becuase they do not have insurance.
I underestimated Obama. I did not think he could cause so much damage in so little time.
Thank you Obama. I just quit my job. I would have done it before but I didnt have health care. Now I have free government housing, free food stamps and now free health care. Not only that but because I have children I will receive a check to take care of them. I would have kept working so one day I could retire. But what would my incentive be?

Thousands of people die every year waiting for a heart or a kidney and some of them have awesome insurance and are very wealthy people. That has nothing to do with insurance. It has to do with the fact that people don't donate their organs. Maybe we should pass a bill to FORCE people to give their organs. Hmmmmmm. I think I will write my congressman on this one. I need some more government intervention. After all we can't be making our own decisions.

We can only hope that this will cause a backlash and create a passion in the people who have been swimming in their apathy. We can hope that the next election will show these politicians that they can't go against the majority and continue to be re-elected. It ain't over til it's over. We still have a chip and a chair. we all have to admit healthcare, entitlements , the capitalists bankers greed, un employment benefits that extend two years....the govt can't take care of everyone and we should start by eliminating health care and pensions to terminal ill, congressmen and past presidents, and give incentives to take risk again in this country....risk is not chasng a four flush or inside straight draw either

I didn't check the math, nor the ligitimacy/accuracy of this, but it is kinda sobering....
A 15 mpg clunker that travels 12,000 miles a year uses 800 gallons of gas a year.
A 25 mpg vehicle that travels 12,000 miles a year uses 480 gallons a year.
So, the average Cash for Clunkers transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year.
They claim 700,000 clunkers were turned-in, so that's 224 million gallons saved per year.
That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil.
5 million barrels is about 5 hours worth of US consumption.
More importantly, 5 million barrels of oil at $70 per barrel costs about $350 million dollars
So, the government paid $3 billion of our tax dollars to save $350 million.
We spent $8.57 for every dollar we saved.
Now they are gonna fix health care.
I understand the reasoning behind opposing government intervention in citizens' personal lives. Why oppose this bill, though, and not the Patriot Act, which allowed government agencies to look through our records and invade our privacy with little reason? Why oppose this bill and not the legislation passed recently in this state which denied the basic human right to marry to a fraction of the population?
Marriage should be illegal for everyone.
I am assuming that you are talking about homosexuals. Marriage is an institution that was created by religion. And almost all religion bans homosexuality. They don't want them in their community, church, school or lets be honest anywhere. I don't understand why you would want to be part of something that hates you so much. It is like a black man marching with the KKK. It doesn't make sense.
And the Patriot Act is also unconstitutional.

Some have said that the stimulus hasn't saved any jobs, but here is a case where at least one job was saved. Oregon State University Athletic Director Bob DeCarolis was considering firing their basketball coach, Craig Robinson, after an 8-11 start (2-5 in the Pac 10 conference).
When word of this reached Washington, Undersecretary of Education Martha Kanter was dispatched to Corvallis with $17 million in stimulus money for the university. Craig Robinson's job is safe for this year. For those of you unfamiliar with Coach Robinson, he just happens to be Michelle Obama's big brother. Just a coincidence I'm sure!
