Faldo has promised ThePunk75 that NPP would visit his poker home. This is the night to do it, May 23rd.
Electric Stick (734-467-1717) is a pool hall located at 6581 N. Wayne Rd. in Westland. A map shows it to be south of Warren Rd and north of Ford Rd, between Newburgh Rd. and Venoy Rd.
Poker is played in the Electric SLICK Poker room located inside. There is a fine Italian restaurant attached also, so come hungry! You won't regret it.
The tournament starts at 7pm and ThePunk75 informs Faldo that there will be 100+ players there.
The buy in is $20 with a $10 add on at the break. There are no re-buys, however, the tournament is called "Pick Your Poison". Which I think means you can "buy in" as many times as you like. So $40 will get you double the starting chips that $20 will. $60 would be a 3x buy in, etc.
I will call and verify, or ThePunk75 can verify, but I think that is the deal.
If I check the couch cushions, Faldo might be able to extend his initial buy in to $21.30. As I always say, go BIG or go home!

Pick your Poison is this
one time buyin + $5 dealer tip
$20= 20k in chips
$30= 30k in chips
$40= 40k in chips
$50= 50k in chips
The $5 dealer tip also gets you an additional 10k in chips. You do not have to tip the dealer you get the additional 10k in chips regardless. But it is customary to tip the dealer.
So if you wanted to do the max buy in it would be $55 for a total of 60k in chips.
Some features of the Electric stick.
They have a real final table(only used for the final table)It has lights and is able to have hole card cameras installed. There was talk of them producing a tv show of their bigger monthly tournaments.

Yes the food is fantastic. And yes the waitresses are hot, well all but like two of them.
The "pick your poison" tournys are extremely popular. They average over 100 players each night. There is a 11pm snack served every night on the house.

Nik, don't cater to me. I have an every other Thursday live game, too. My schedule is so tight that some days I need a tube of KY to get into it . . . .
