Three NPP’ers ventured over to the PPL for the Saturday Night Tourney. Beerhog, Pre01 and Faldo unfortunately were seated at the same table of the two (16 players) needed. This would tend to hurt our chances to make the final table, but we all had a shot to make it.
Faldo (10th) bubbled the final table (what else is new) on a bad beat with my two pair losing to a deuce on the river giving the villain trips.
Pre01 (6th) also goes out in a rotten way as his (AQ) loses to (A6) with a [6] on the turn.
Beerhog was the short stack with four players left (paying two places), but made a roaring comeback to win it outright!
Way to go Beerhog! Tell us a few of those catch up hands if you would.

Short stacked I go all in w/ AK and get called w/ AQ. My king holds and i double up. The same guy goes all in after the flop on the next hand from the big blind. I was in the small blind and had limped in w/ 2 4 and caught two pair on the flop. It holds and now I am in a solid 3rd out of 3.
The best play of the night for me was on the last hand. I check out of turn after the flop. He sees it and decides to push all in. I had top pair and immediately call to win the game. Sometimes a little gesture can pull in that bad move from another player.

Way to go Beerhog!!
Beerhog stood over his tee shot on the 450 yard 18th hole for what seemed an eternity. He waggled, looked up, looked down, waggled again, but didn't start his back swing..
Finally his exasperated partner asked, 'What the heck is taking so long?'
'My wife is watching me from the clubhouse balcony,' Beerhog explained. 'I want to make a perfect shot.'
His companion said, 'You don't have a chance in hell of hitting her from here.'
