I've been unfairly abused by this blog and can not be silent any longer.
Issues:
- Nik still whines about bad beats.
- Beerhog is mean to me. He also has never bought me a beer.
- Nik allows females (yeeeech!) to play in the weekly tournament.
- The weekly tourney should be on Thursday. Those of us trying to raise children know that this is the best evening (Friday is out since we are asleep by 10:00 PM)
I am monitoring the abusive comments, taking names and looking forward to taking chips from those that have crossed me.

- my whining has decreased slightly
- Beerhog is mean to everyone, has bought Faldo many beers but I am out in bar where this act is possible, and not tied to my kitchen sink
- Somehow women vote too. I hate it, but lets move on.
- We had a vote and Tuesday won in a tight race beating Monday. Thursday did not get even one vote. You were a Monday or Wednesday man as I recall.
And finally, in order to take chips, you have to ENTER the tourney.
I'll give you a cigar AND buy you a beer if you ever cut the piano wire and regrow the onions.
I have a suggestion: Tell the wife she has to choose: Tuesday is Sex or Poker night.

And, Beerhog has bought "me" a beer, and shot pool at his place. (great time). So get out of the laundry room and smell the roses.

FYI - Davethedog-4Putt would have responded by now but his wife took away his log in privileges until after he got all the Precious Moments knick-knacks dusted.
you are in bed by 10pm? I always wondered why your old lady is kicking me out at 9:30.

Ok Beerhog, now I know why she has me leave by 8:30.....
We had a pretty good game at La Casa de Matchy saturday night, with Boother, The Frye's (Crazy Canadians, Arctic, Dave E. and myself. A new favorite was exposed bonus hold 'em where your third card is an up card for all to see. Played until approx. 2:45 AM. The usual gridlocks, anacondas and double bedded connectors were also in effect, along with an old favorite amongst Boother and myself called 52. To give a hint of how my night went in 52 aces and low hole cards are wild with high hand getting the pot and I was actually dealt 2 2 2 2 A A 6 in one of the biggest pots! It took all my poker skill to rake in that pot. My basement is finished and ready to rock in some more home games in the future. Maybe we can even get DaveTheDog to show up.
