I, Faldo, not only had to burn my Male Chauvinist Card because of this, but I was so traumatized by Nahanni’s win last week, I hit LIMIT instead of No Limit for the tourney.
My mistake, but it really didn’t take any longer - a little over 2 hours.
On to the game:
35 min: BigLou exits (10th), but I didn’t see the hand as we were still at two tables, and I was on the other one.
53 min: Duder (9th) bet all his chips with (A9) pre-flop and was called by McGuiness with (Q9). The flop had a [Q].
That took us to the break and much cussing at Faldo was begun. But Faldo mentioned that it really would not take that much longer than a NL tourney.
Trust Faldo. They didn’t.
Don’t ever doubt Faldo. They did.

90 min: I (Mikeniks – Faldo) (6th) went card dead since about the 45 minute mark. Shocking, I know. I finally get (AK) to make a stand and McGuiness correctly calls me with a straight draw and hits it. Bubble boy AGAIN for Faldo!!!!
102 min: McGuiness (5th) points as his (A6) runs into ArcticBlast’s (JJ).
110 min: Aqualung (4th) goes out. I was emptying the Heineken - via bladder - that was being forced on me by the waitress in the hotel bar. Damn her!
Not really damn her. I think she has been programmed by a foreign government to over-serve potential WSOP Champions. Not her fault and certainly not mine. How could it be?

And another good job to faldo for the nice little NPP league you got started and run very smoothly each week, well except this last week.
I am sorry to report that the 747 Jet is now in the hangers for good. The old plane just couldn't handle any more turbulence. All the highs and lows really took its toll. But seriously, You won't be seeing myself in the tourneys each week. Poker Stars(FUCK OFF STARS) has frozen my account. I can no longer play. It seem Poker Stars thinks I am not who I say I am, They think I am some DONK! They want me to send in a picture ID. That is not happening. They don't trust me when I say I am who I am, and I don't trust them when they say they won't use my ID for anything other than their investigation. They refuse to say what I did wrong (which is nothing) and only tell me to send in picture ID to resolve this issue. I think this is a piss poor way to treat their customers who have had no problems reported about them or their play. They might be one of the biggest sites, but if they do this to more innocent people, they might not have a site.(one can only hope happens) So to this I say: Fuck You Joker Poker Stars. And you can quote me there.
But on a positive note, I did enjoy playing with each and everyone who has played. This was a cool thing you got running Faldo. Again good job doing all that you do. I would like to wish everyone good luck in the remaining tourneys. Wish I could be there!

WHAT?!?!?!? doesn't make any sense! they sent you an email or letter indicating that you have to send in photo ID in order to keep playing? why? what do they say when you ask why? Can't you just create a new account? you could call yourself Boeing...??? something doesn't seem right and it would suck that you can't play. I don't think you should give up...I think you should either find out what the hell is up or see if you can just create a new account. is this really because I won 2 weeks in a row? ;)

Ahhhh…I get it…Mr. Anonymous IS aqualung…well that makes all the other posts make so much more sense considering the source. I’m not sure what your problem is…whatever it is, you need to get over it and let it go. As for the situation you are talking about, Mike had 315 chips left and was in the BB for 200 leaving him 115 chips. I made it 400 to go and everyone folded and we were heads up. If you recall a year ago when the speculation issue came up (1 YEAR AGO), I indicated that unless you are heads up in a hand, one should not talk about the hand. This is just common poker sense that I thought was all cleared up last year.
most people on here know who rushlimbaugh is babycakes, THATS MY MONIKER ON ANOTHER SITE..so it wasn't anonymous...so that is all that matters....and I believe if you are going to cry about someone talking you should just keep your mouth shut...

I agree that both aqualung and Nahanni are right and wrong in a sense...Nahanni was right when she said Aqua should'nt discuss hand if he isn't in it, Aqua was right that Nahanni should'nt discuss her hand in a tourney setting, in a cash game she can talk all she wants to the other player she is in a hand with, BUT Aqua was right in telling her it is not fair to other people that may be low in chips in the tourney to give Mike the unfair advantage if he should call or not for all his chips....thats totally wrong in my book......he may only have one live card you know......
I also see Aqua was very nice in his post but Nahanni still harbors bad feelinsg towards him....
Now knowing Mike and Aqua for as long as I have I think maybe this Nahanni women should maybe just not badmouth anyone on this blog.... I believe she is a friend of Matchy if I am correct, so in a sense the AQUAMAN is responsible for her playing in these tourneys, seeing as he is the one that introduced Matchy to the staple of 15 yr NPP players..........

it's sort of much to do about nothing. this is so not a big deal and not anything like what I had an issue with last year. If you felt so strongly about it, why didn't you say something when I said "do you wanna know what I have?". I typed that before I told him...you had the opportunity to say something at that time. Anyway, it was a harmless exchange with Mike and I only said it because I thought it was a no-brainer for him to call (in for 200 with 115 left and forced to be all-in the next hand). 99.999999999999999% of the time I wouldn't even think of telling my opponent what I have...I promise you, that since you feel so strongly about it, I will make sure to not do it again (in that 0.00000000000001% chance that this situation comes up again).

Boy the NPP staple player has just made me feel a little unwelcome as a newbie to the NPP (compared to you 15 star NPP members). You'd think you would welcome a bloke like me at the games in order to releive me of some of my money. Actually until now I have never felt unwelcome. Technically Mike Niks is responsible for Nahanni being here. He (long ago) invited Tolly who invited me who invited Boother...all along requesting new players to keep this thing going. Don't get me wrong, I like ALL you guys but it seems a little silly to start puffing your chest about a 15 year membership in a club that has a hard time getting a monthly live game together. When was the last time you hosted Mr. NPP staple, and heck why not give us your name?

I still can't get over the fact that you post separate posts under a different alias supporting yourself in your previous post under a different alias! that is just so damn funny! so do you ever get confused when you are talking about yourself in the 3rd person? I guess it is kinda clever in a weasely sort of way...as long as nobody finds out, cuz then you just look like a real…uh….well…you look anti-clever.
I think it also so funny that you would make a big deal out of this (given that particular situation)...talking about what is fair and not fair...good lord...you were the person who initiated collusion with another player to steal blinds instead of just play poker.
