I got the tee times nailed down at all three courses (see post below).
As the trip gets closer, we men can determine where we will play our Thurday round on June 7th. Hartland Glen is fine with me, but so is any course in;

Gee, thanks for the critisizm and no solution. The one we usually go to at Shanty Creek is cheaper too, but it is farther away.
The idea of this outing was to get Fourputt his one chance to play golf all year. And to get some poker in after the round.
Mt. Pleasant has it all.
If there are other places that offer golf, poker and steak dinners - I'm all ears. You have the price you have to beat. We can go there next year!

Beerhog, be on stand-by. I expect Davethedog to have cancel in Feb. due to some unforessen plans his wife might make.

I may not be able to play Tuesday. I should be able to, but may not. Fourputt, take notes and write the report if I don't make it back in time.
I can't make Shanty. Not enough vacation time for both trips yet.
We may move the Fourputt Open to July someday so I can do both.
I am an empty-nester as you know.
Beerhog, you are wrong. The Father's Day weekend is the week after the Fourputt Open.
The other thought was that if we wanted to take each other's bankrolls, we could play at Kensington Park and then head to NPP for poker action.
The idea was Fourputt's: golf, steaks and poker at a casino against mopes who have no idea of the beating NPP players will lay on them. And Fourputt is not allowed to play golf on Father's Day cause his wife said so.
Maybe we can pick a date for 2008 over the NPP table and decide what casino and what courses.
I'm up for almost anything, except for those of you who plan 2 week trips to Greece.

As far as the price being high, Beerhog - you didn't factor this in:
If you play play just 10 hours at the 10/20 tables and earn the 'one big bet an hour' minimum that pros do - that is $200 back.
Of course there is the money that will be spent on hooking and blowjobs - you would make another $400 doing that.
