Tomservo2 Wins the 2018 NPP Final

Socialist/Communist business effectiveness and efficiency on display at NPP.

Tomservo2 won the championship, but to no fault of his own, there were problems.

Congratulation to Tomservo2 on his 6th NPP win of the season and his 37th NPP victory.

As all are aware that play poker, the Socialist States of America have banned on line poker for real money. We at NPP have been forced to play our tournaments at Pokerstars dot net.

Faldo was not aware - by Pokerstars or other players - that PokerStars dot com has re-opened for play chip poker, and that all the features for SSA (or USA if you still believe that) free play are available.

Faldo and a few other players tried to join the tournament as usual and were met by a Pokerstars dot net "site update" screen that was not completing the update! Several minutes and several attempts would not fix the freeze. LittleRedElf told Faldo that the update had been frozen for several days and he had moved to Pokerstar dot com already.

Faldo got to the tourney late. Some finalists got there even later. Some finalists never made it to the table. Sad.

Some of you know Faldo personally. Faldo has been known to have a short fuse. Faldo still - at times - has a shorter fuse than someone of his now matured age should not still be that immature enough to have. Any time incompetence or unfairness hurts Faldo or Faldo's friends, he tends to lose his temper. Faldo figured it would be better to wait a few days before writing this report, to cool off.

The frustration and anger Faldo felt on NPP Finals Tuesday was epic. Instead of computers being thrown against the wall or profanity filled emails being sent to Pokerstars in record volume, Faldo instead did pushups and sit-ups to burn off the adrenal over-load.

Faldo is still crippled and sore from destroying his muscles (at this writing 5 days later). But the computer still is in one piece.

This entire situation could have been avoided with just a little customer service by PokerStars. Emails to players stating PokerStars dot com was now open for free chip play would have been nice. Quick action to fix a frozen update on Pokerstars dot net would have worked also.

But as happens when the capitalist profit motivation is turned off by socialist and communist governments, the customer and average citizen suffers immediately. There is never any hurry to help citizens coming from the government, because there is no profit incentive to do so. Now our government has brought that same incompetence model to businesses.

Faldo realizes that in the scheme of the world, a free chip poker tournament being disrupted is not an earth shattering catastrophe. But it does mean something to people - and there is no reason this could not be avoided.

That is except for the fact of government interference, government tyrannical over-reach, government favoritism for taxation (casino lobbies and lack of regulations in place to rape on-line poker players with taxation) and normal government apathy and incompetence. That socialist/communist government incompetence bleeds into business incompetence as Faldo already proved.

Faldo was so furious, he sent a scathing letter to Pokerstar's lame 'Contact us' system. No response from them. Again, why should they? Faldo and his crew are a free chip - negative profit - pain in the butt.

Faldo was also ready to just drop the entire thing.  But again, waiting a few days allowed Faldo to re-focus on what is important, and that is the friendship with the players of NPP.

So, the tournaments are set for next year - starting January 8th, 2019 for the NPP 25th season!
