Do we continue or do we fold the internet league?
Only ten people have made half the games, which I think half is a fair amount to expect players to make.
We need a stable of double what we currently have.
Luckily, we still average 8 per game, which is good - but statistically....lucky. We need to average 10 easily to maintain viability. Here is the data on attendance.

I'm out until the end of basketball season which is March, I'm coaching and we practice Tuesdays from 6:30 -8...only way I can play is if it is moved to a later start and I'm not sure I even want to....they have ripped off enough money from me..nuff said

My opinion - this is all about you Mike. I enjoy playing when I can, which ain't much lately. Like Aqua I got kids and sports that take up lots of time. I played last night and enjoyed the excellent competiton that ultimately handed me my ass. I had fun with 6 guys, for me just as good as 12, maybe better because if I last I am not playing until 11 or later. But that is just me, I am not setting this up. If you are having fun, stick to it whether you do a champions tourney or not. The championship tourney is not important to me, mostly because I can't be there enough to contend anyway.

I’m with Chesky, its up to you Faldo. Since you run it, you do as you see fit. What ever changes get enacted, if any, I will live with.
Tuesdays have been, and will be, bad for me (due to hockey) for the next several months. I LOVE to play with you guys and gals. I actually really look forward to the weekly event!! Maybe twice a month, or every other week might work out better?!?!?! Leave the format as NLHE. NO FU@&ING HORSE!!!
A different night would work better for me. Wednesday or Thursday would be ok. I like the 8:00 PM start time so it doesn’t go too late.
I like the championship format. I was really working hard to win my seat into the final tourney, but my crappy attendance ruined that plan.

Guys, I love doing it. The blog itself is great to communicate poker goings on through out the year.
The weekly tourneys is a chance to get together when live games are not in the offering.
My fear is having an average of like 5 and sometimes a tourney of 3. Invalidating the point system nearly every week is no good.
Moving the start time to later is no good. Work calls. Moving it earlier, I think dinner with the family (or wife) interferes.
What about floating it? A tourney every eight days, but skipping Friday, Saturday and Sunday? I'll have to do the schedule and see how many games that is.
At least that would drive traffic to the blog. You got to read it to know when the game is for sure.
PS: I can't change the New Player Pic as long as I keep getting points! She is lucky for me!

If you float it, Mon. , Wed, work best for me and also Thursdays are doable.I know lots on here like NLHE ONLY, But I really liked having winner declare game for following week (thats just me). Also what Matchy said about tourney going late, they seem to always do, maybe try turbo format where blinds go up faster. Anyway I am just speculating and for me my point may be moot, I am broke on Pokerstars and don't know if I will put any more on for awhile at least, so right now my opinion is meaningless..........
anyway Faldo when are you having a home game, I have some recruits...
