TooBIGAKQ Wins 1st Tourney of Round Three

Three......make it four cheers for TooBigAKQ!

Sorry for the lack of story on this win as Faldo is away on a golf outing.

TooBIGAKQ wins the first round of the 3^rd quarter, and wins for the 4^th time this year and 4^th time in NPP history. BIG is moving up the Walk of Fame! He beat field of eleven players.

ThePunk75 came in second as his pair of Queens lost to TooBIGAKQ’s two pair.

Faldo squeaked into 3^rd due to a hot run of big cards.

Only two players received points in this round, so of course there is plenty of time to catch the leaders.

LittleRedElf and Faldo Win in Style

Tara Reid waits in LittleRedElf's Vegas hotel room.

LittleRedElf did it in Las Vegas and at Niks Poker Palace – at the same time!

Faldo just took care of business at NPP. Faldo had the 2^nd quarter lead and capped that off with a win on the last night to capture the 2^nd quarter seat in the NPP Finals!

Luckily for LittleRedElf (not that the Elf needs luck with his poker talents), he held on to 2^nd place – even though he missed the last two rounds at NPP – because he is in Las Vegas!

But as explained before – Faldo is a wildcard! His win or total points win a spot, but don’t take a spot. So The Elf also wins a seat in the NPP Final. Congratulations Elf.

What that does for everyone else is it eliminates the always dangerous Elf – and the ever persistent Faldo - from stealing a seat, either in the 3^rd or 4^th quarter or the two seats there for total points, or the seat for winning the Tournament of Champions!

Lots of seats still up for grabs so get to NPP and get one!  The beauty is Absea98, LittleRedElf and Faldo can’t win one. They got theirs.

Now for a report from the World Series of Poker. LittleRedElf sends in this report:

“I cashed in Event #30 $1000 NL Holdem Tournament finishing 204^th out of 2151. I got knocked out when my [JJ] lost a coin flip against [AQ] when a [Q] hit the river. That’s poker!

I survived earlier when I was forced to make a move with [Qs Ts] and my caller had [KK]! I hit my Spade flush on the river.

I also played in the $1500 HORSE event and did not cash.

I am down slightly in tournament play and up some in live games in between tournaments.

My next event is the Seniors WSOP Event. I will send Faldo a report.”

Other NPP news: ThePunk75 and TooBIGAKQ were also in Sin City, but I did not get a report….. yet.

TooBIGAKQ Wins for the 3rd Time in 2015

TooBIGAKQ may not capture the 2^nd Quarter seat, but he has moved up the Total Points Standings with this win. And he still may get the 2nd Quarter seat.

He also moved up the Walk of Fame!

Absea98, our 1^st quarter winner expands his total point lead also.

There are still a couple people with a chance to catch the leader Faldo. But remember, Faldo is a wild-card. Whoever finishes second to Faldo this quarter - if Faldo holds on - also wins a seat in the NPP Final.

LittleRedElf Wins for the 2nd Time in 2015

Amanda Beard keeps a look out for LittleRedElf by the NPP pool.

The “Master” put another beat down on his subjects as The Elf wins again, and puts himself in 2^nd place in the 2^nd quarter standings.

There are two weeks left in the 2^nd quarter and there are plenty of contenders vying to overtake Faldo – who accidentally and by a huge stroke of luck - has the lead right now.

Just a reminder to all – Faldo is a ‘wildcard’. If he wins a seat in the NPP Finals by winning a quarter or by the Total Points standings, OR a seat by winning the Tournament of Champions, - the person finishing 2^nd also wins a seat!

In other words, Faldo is in the lead but it’s like he is not! So, get in there. You can take him out or finish just behind Faldo – and it is all the same to you.
